I worked with Amixa-Ray Calzado and Devansh Gandhi to prototype a design solution for political polarization. In 2020, a year of conflict and political turmoil in the United States, we sought to build bridges between people on opposite ends of the political spectrum. After extensive research and ideation, we settled upon the idea of a glass garden which would play immigrant life stories through a speaker, so that people who walk past could hear and be impacted by their words. I was inspired by the image above.
My primary role was that of primary ideator, writer, and editor. Read more about our research and design process in our Medium article, which I wrote and edited with the help of my team.
